The new The Classic Reference combines technical finesse and luxurious design like no other turntable. It is based on The Classic EVO model and the experience we gained developing our legendary turntable for the Vienna Philharmonic.

The Classic Reference is available with the limited edition Vienna Philharmonic Anniversary MC cartridge system, which was fine-tuned in collaboration with members of the orchestra and manufactured by Ortofon in Denmark according to our specifications.
Main plate
A throne for your records
The turntable is precisely manufactured from a special aluminum alloy and features an internal TPE ring that offers special damping properties.
Aluminum sub-plate
Best speed accuracy
The diamond-ground aluminum sub-platter can be machined with significantly better and more precise tolerances compared to conventional plastic sub-platters. It adds mass to the entire platter and drive system, resulting in additional damping of noise and unwanted resonances.
Sub Chassis Construction
The subchassis isolates the platter and tonearm from the resonances of the motor and the main base. The floating aluminum chassis sits on decoupling TPE damping spheres.
High-end tonearm
The Classic Reference is equipped with our high-end precision tonearm, the EVO 9 AS HG. It uses a reverse gimbal bearing of Swiss ABEC 7 quality with four stainless steel tips. The bearing is housed in a heavy aluminum casing, which provides the necessary stability. The solid outer ring is open to prevent resonances. For the EVO AS tonearms, we use a special S-shaped aluminum tube with superior internal damping, paired with an SME headshell. The internal wiring is made of flexible, high-purity copper, which is an optimal conductor for the small phono signal.
True Balanced XLR Output
The new Classic Reference offers classic RCA outputs and additional balanced XLR outputs. The major advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to eliminate recorded noise and interference.
