AN OLD GREEK SYMBOL
Arreté is an old Greek symbol, which means: Being able to perform everything to the highest standards. This model is based on the
SR 3 Avantgarde, which was the original top model in the SR 3 range. In itself a fantastic speaker, this models inspired keen listeners to ask: Is it possible to improve the performance even further?
A TOUR DE FORCE
Ole Klifoth rose to the challenge and went on a tour de force through virtually all aspects of optimization in the fields of drivers and cross-overs, driver/cabinet interaction, speaker-floor interaction, cryogenic treatment – and much more. A couple of years later, the SR 3 Avantgarde Arreté was born.

WHO IS AUDIOVECTOR
Audiovector was founded by Ole Klifoth under the name of F3/LYD in 1979. The main business is design, engineering and manufacturing of high end loudspeakers for home use.
AVANTGARDE ARRETÉ
The beautiful chrome finish of the Avantgarde Arreté tweeter is one of the ways this model distinguishes itself from the rest. Reaching up to more than 50 kHz, it makes sure that everything going on in the human hearing range is reproduced to perfection.
MOLECULAR REALIGNMENT
Natural Crystal Structure [NCS] is one of many invisible technological enhancements of the Arreté models. By freezing components down to -238°C, the copper molecules realign to their natural positions and thus reduce resistance, which clarifies the overall sound.
DEEP POWERFUL BASS
The bass driver used in our Avantgarde and Avantgarde Arreté models, is vented in every possible way in order to reproduce deep, undistorted powerful bass.
NON-PARALLEL CABINET DESIGN
By avoiding parallel panels inside, we totally eliminate the internal resonances that impair sound quality in other speakers The design allows for an absolute minimum of damping, which results in a cleaner, clearer and powerful sound.
